A hiking day out on the Island of Diaporos
Description: Hop on a boat and discover Diaporos. Swim at the turquoise sea, explore small coves, hike on Diaporos We combine swimming and snorkelling on Diaporos island with hiking. Starting point, the beach in front of Ekies Resort, get transfered with our boat to the south small coves of Diaporos where you can swim if you like and then hike with our guide to the south east coast where the boat will be waiting to take us back at Ekies resort.
Location: Ekies All Senses Resort is surrounded by rocky islands, caves, crystal waters, sandy beaches, and pine tree forests.

Diaporos Island
Diaporos island is right across Vourvourou village in the Sithonia peninsula. The bay is deep enough for large yachts and the natural beauty of the location is astonishing.
With a few adorable houses here and there, it’s a place worth exploring and is ideal for a picnic. There are many reefs where one can snorkel in the crystal clear water. Diaporos belongs to a complex of islets together with Kalogria, Ambelitsi, Kalamonisia (3), Prassonisi, Peristera, Agios Isodoros.
One can reach them by renting a private boat (no license needed) or paddle your own canoe to explore the several secluded coves surrounded by pine trees and sandy beaches.

The excursion combines swimming, snorkeling, and hiking on the beautiful island of Diaporos. Participants will start with a boat transfer from Ekies All Senses Resort to the south small coves of Diaporos, where they can swim in the turquoise sea. Afterward, a guided hike along the southeast coast of the island will take place, exploring scenic landscapes and hidden gems. The boat will be waiting to take participants back to Ekies Resort after the hike.

Families can enjoy a day of adventure together, exploring the island’s natural beauty through swimming, snorkeling, and an easy-paced hike along the coastline. Children aged 4 and above are eligible to join the excursion at a discounted rate.
We recommend bringing a small backpack, athletic shoes suitable for hiking, a swimsuit, sun protection (such as sunscreen and a hat), and a towel.
